A 32-year old woman died in a single vehicle crash on Saturday, November 8. The victim has been identified as Evette Ortiz.

Investigators say Ortiz was eastbound on Irvington Road near Tucson Boulevard at around 4:30 a.m. when she lost control of her car and struck a metal light pole.

Police say Ortiz was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. They are looking into the possibility that speed may have been a factor, while toxicology results will determine if drugs or alcohol were factors.
