“Paying For College: A Community Forum” will be held on Wednesday, November 19, from 4:45 to 6 p.m. at the Main Library downtown. The forum will include high school students, parents and counselors in a discussion with community leaders and representatives from local scholarship programs, high schools, and public and private colleges and universities.

The goals of the forum are to increase awareness of local scholarship opportunities, discuss the challenges of applying for scholarships, and provide tips on the scholarship search and application process. Participants will include Tucson Mayor Bob Walkup and Pima County Board of Supervisors Chair Richard Elias.
