Man charged with arson in apartment fire

A 53-year old man is under arrest, accused of setting an apartment on fire, causing over $70,000 in damage. Douglas Leslie was booked into the Pima County Jail on one count of arson of an occupied structure, one count of criminal damage, and one count of endangerment.

The blaze was reported shortly after 12 noon on Sunday, November 30, in the 5200 block of East Bellevue Street. No one was home at the time.
