Police seek suspect in motel arson

Tucson Police are looking for a 36-year old man in connection with the fire that was set at the Ghost Ranch Motel on Friday, November 28. Police contacted James Mottershead, who was located near the scene on the day of the blaze, and have now developed probable cause to arrest him on charges of arson of an occupied structure and criminal damage.

The fire was discovered shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the vacant motel in the 800 block of West Miracle Mile Road. Anyone with information about Mr. Mottershead’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
