Water harvesting workshop is December 6
09:20 PM MST on Monday, December 1, 2008
The second in a series of four workshops regarding water harvesting will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Tucson Ward 1 Council Office located at 940 West Alameda Street. The topic of the workshop will be the second phase of shaping basic earthworks and planting native vegetation to successfully harvest water.
The workshops were developed after Tucson City Council recently passed a commercial water harvesting ordinance. Tucson Water estimates that 45% of all water usage in the city is used for outdoor purposes.
The workshops are free, but space is limited, so an RSVP is required to attend. More information is available by clicking here.
