Folks at a Phoenix Area high school will have heightened security on their minds today after a student was arrested Monday for allegedly bringing a gun to school.
Police officers confiscated a gun and ammunition from a student's car at Carl Hayden High School on 34th Avenue and Roosevelt Street.

He left the weapon his car in the parking lot, but school officials learned about the gun and called police.
