Oregon swim coach re-arrested for sex abuse

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. - A Lake Oswego swimming coach was rearrested for sex abuse charges after appearing in court Monday afternoon.

Lake Oswego Captain Don Forman said King was arrested Monday afternoon after ihs court appearance based on a request by Albany Police to take King into custody to face charges in Albany similar to those in Lake Oswego.
The charges included first-degree sex abuse, third-degree sex abuse, and first-degree attempted sexual abuse.
King's attorney said the district attorney's office reviewed the police reports and determined in court Monday that he should face two misdemeanor county with allegations stemming from a single victim.
The investigation began after people at a swim meet in Albany alerted an off-duty detective. The detective later videotaped what he described as inappropriate touching by King.
The 65-year-old was first arrested Friday.
