TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Friends and competitors of Oscar Campos say they looked up to the Tucson businessman.
Campos was the owner Thoroughbred Nissan and one of Tucson's first Hispanic car dealers.
Campos died yesterday after battling brain cancer. He was 65.
Tucson car dealer Jim Click says Campos dedicated himself to the community by giving in a very quiet, unassuming way.
According to the Arizona Daily Star Web site, Campos started out as a car salesman and eventually owned his own dealership, becoming one of two Hispanic new-car dealers operating in Tucson.
Campos is survived by two siblings, six grandchildren, his former wife of 35 years, Yvonne Campos, and wife Teresa Aguero.
