Car plows into crowd on Las Vegas Strip; at least 12 hurt
01:30 PM MST on Friday, September 21, 2007
Twelve people are hurt, including 7 who are hospitalized, after a car plowed into a crowd on the Las Vegas Strip.
Police and firefighters say it looks like the driver of a four-door Pontiac sedan with Arizona license plates suffered a medical seizure and passed out behind the wheel.
The vehicle ran up on the curb this afternoon between the Harley Davidson restaurant and Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.
The driver is one of the people taken to the hospital.
Most of the injuries are said to be moderate to serious. But a fire spokesman says two women have injuries.
