08:48 AM MST on Wednesday, October 17, 2007
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tucson police are after a man who has been robbing banks the past month.
The suspect is described as in his 30s, 5 feet 8 and 175 pounds, Tucson police said.
The man is suspected of hitting one bank a week for the past four weeks. The banks are located inside grocery stores, Officer Frank Amado said.
The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money from each location except the last one, where he didn't get anything, Amado said.
Witnesses told police in each instance the man left the store on foot and was wearing a baseball cap, jeans and sunglasses.
In one robbery, the cap was red, but the other three times was dark blue with the University of Arizona A on the front, Amado said.
Police urge anyone with information to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
