Bullhead City joining firefighters heading to California

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) -- Bullhead City is joining the army of firefighters heading to California to battle a firestorm that's claimed lives and destroyed hundreds of homes and businesses.
Bullhead City is sending 4 firefighters to California. They'll be joining forces with fire crews from Mohave Valley and the Pinion Pine Fire Departments.
The group will travel to Blythe and meet up with firefighters from Sedona and Cottonwood.
A total of 5 engines and a Strike Team Leader are part of a Structure Protection Task Force.
They will be assigned to the Rice Fire near Fllbrook, California. The 5 engines are expected to arrive late this evening.
