Dramatic weather change after record-breaking heat in Ariz.

PHOENIX (AP) -- Arizona is experiencing a dramatic weather change after two days of record-breaking heat in many areas.
Much of Arizona is under wind advisories and red flag fire warnings, and the National Weather Service said high temperatures Wednesday would be 10 to 15 degrees lower than Tuesday's.
The forecast calls for much cooler weather yet Thursday, Friday and Saturday, coupled with some rain and thunderstorms, and the possibility of snow in the higher mountains.
May and June historically are the driest months of the year for the Phoenix area, but rain is forecast, particularly on Friday.
Phoenix hit a record 110 degrees Monday, but by Friday the forecast high is in the low to mid-70s, some 30 degrees below average. The Weather Service says the lowest high temperature on record for Phoenix for May 23 is 70 degrees.
