REXBURG, Idaho (AP) -- A 20-year-old Brigham Young University-Idaho student from Arizona has been arrested in connection with a shoplifting spree that hit 11 businesses in Rexburg, Idaho.

Tavia Joy Womack of Tucson was arrested after stealing a guitar from a music store.

During questioning, police say the woman acknowledged additional burglaries.

They say at least 11 businesses were hit, with the thief netting more than 200 different items ranging from bike helmets to saddle blankets and boots.

According to authorities, Womack would generally enter a store with a backpack and fill it with merchandise before leaving.

She faces one felony count of burglary in 7th District Court but more charges are pending.
