Protests planned for President's visit
TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- President Bush is in Tucson to attend a fundraiser for Republican congressional candidate Tim Bee.
Before leaving Arizona for Texas, he'll present the presidential volunteer service award to Green Valley resident Mary Francis Ward.
The public likely won't have the chance to catch a glimpse of the president during his brief visit. The fundraiser is to be held at a private home in the Tucson foothills and will be closed to the public. The award will be presented to Ward during a brief event at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base before the president heads to his Texas ranch for the weekend.
