Driver held at gunpoint during Phoenix pursuit

PHOENIX -- A pursuit along I-17 ended in the parking lot of a Goodwill store near the intersection of Northern and 35th avenue in Phoenix.
ADOT cameras followed the action along I-17 as DPS cruisers closed the interstate to traffic until the suspect exited onto Northern.
Police say that the suspect was holding his father by gunpoint, forcing him to drive.
The whole incident started in Casa Grande during a domestic dispute. From there the suspect lead authorities on a nearly 60 mile pursuit that ended in the parkinglot of a Goodwil store near Northern and 35th avenue in Phoenix.
Police were able to end the incident peacefully, but gave on-lookers quite a scare as they held the suspect car at gunpoint inside the Goodwill parking lot.
