Workshop offers graffiti removal help
07:10 PM MST on Thursday, December 28, 2006
Graffiti is a rampant problem across the city, but now individuals can help to solve it.
The City of Tucson Department of Neighborhood Services is offering free graffiti tutorials to bring neighborhoods together to deal with the issue.
The workshops will give people a chance to hear about what others are doing to get rid of the tagged walls and spray-painted street signs.
Also, citizens will be able to discuss strategies and come up with ways that anyone can get involved to get rid of the graffiti.
Those who attend the workshops will also be certified to receive help from the city in their efforts.
For more information or to reserve a space in the workshop call 882-5885 or visit: www.proneighborhoods.org/registration.html
