ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) — A U.S. monitoring agency says a 7.2-magnitude earthquake has struck deep in the ocean off the coast of Fiji.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage after the temblor hit at 10:44 p.m. Monday.
The U.S. Geological Survey says about the quake was centered 65 miles (110 kilometers) north of Suva, the capital, at a depth of 350 miles (570 kilometers).
