ATLANTERRA, Spain (AP) — There's always next year.

The group sponsoring a Swiss adventurer's attempt at an intercontinental crossing on jet-powered wings says it'll probably try again in 2010.

Yves Rossy was rescued from the wind-swept Atlantic Ocean between Morocco and Spain following a technical malfunction. Rossy took off from Tangiers but vanished after five minutes of what was supposed to be a 15 minute flight. For a good 10 minutes, no one knew where he was.

A sponsor says Rossy is fine and gave the thumbs-up sign through the door of the rescue helicopter. He says Rossy didn't crash; he decided to ditch and was in control of the situation. And he calls Rossy a "man of courage" who will "get up and dust himself off."
