Lee Ann Ayers, Zonta Club of Nogales, says founded in 1919, Zonta International is a global organization of executives
and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.
She says The Nogales Zonta Club's Holiday Auction and lunch is coming up December 2 at the
Quality Inn. She says proceeds help support Zonta’s “Z Club” for high school girls as well
as the “Girl’s Leadership Program.” Both projects, she says, are aimed at helping girls become
interested in volunteerism and community service.
