The World Cup of Softball from Oklahoma City starts Thursday. The U.S. Opens against Canada Thursday at 5 P.M. on ESPN. Former wildcat greats Jennie Finch and Caitlan Lowe on the United States roster. Be sure and check out Jennie, she has announced her retirement at the end of the national pro fast pitch season.
If any city in this country has a passion for ladies softball, Tucson is it. The U of A is obviously top of the line, coach Candrea has graduated some of the very best in the world, and that would include Laura Espinoza Watson. Laura along other former wildcats rolling out a new ASA team called the Arizona Thundercats.
