No. 21 Wildcats hurting at tailback

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona likely will be without two of its top tailbacks when it plays host to Washington State on Saturday.

The Wildcats (5-2, 3-1 Pac-10) are coming off a bye, but the extra time doesn't figure to be enough to heal the shoulder sprains of starting tailback Nic Grigsby and third-stringer Greg Nwoko.

Coach Mike Stoops said on Monday that both players would be "very questionable" for this week's game.

Grigsby, who is averaging 7.5 yards on his 71 carries, injured his right shoulder against Oregon State on Sept. 26. He was limited in each of the next two games before re-injuring the shoulder against UCLA on Oct. 24.

Nwoko, who has rushed 43 times for 190 yards and three touchdowns, injured his left shoulder against UCLA.
