NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Willie Warren scored 23 points and freshman Steven Pledger added 14 points and No. 17 Oklahoma beat British Columbia 93-53 Tuesday night in its only exhibition game.

The Sooners, playing for the first time since Blake Griffin left to become the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft, hit 10 3-pointers in the second half to build on a 12-point halftime lead.

Pledger and fellow freshman Tommy Mason-Griffin each had four of Oklahoma's 13 3-pointers. Mason-Griffin finished with 12 points while Tiny Gallon, Andrew Fitzgerald and Cade Davis had 10 apiece.

Josh Whyte scored 21 points to lead British Columbia, which shot 36 percent and was just 3 of 17 from 3-point range.

The Sooners open the regular season Nov. 14 against Mount St. Mary's.
