ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — Clinton Portis is still experiencing "a little blurriness" from his concussion, making it uncertain whether the Washington Redskins running back will play next week against Dallas.

Portis sat out Sunday's 27-17 win over Denver after getting hurt the week before at Atlanta.

Coach Jim Zorn says Portis still feels the effects of the concussion when moving his head quickly from side to side. Zorn says he'll be cautious with Portis and must see a full practice from the running back before deciding whether to play him.

The Redskins had their best rushing day of the season in Portis' absence, with Ladell Betts running for 114 yards. But Zorn says Portis will regain the starting job when healthy.
