Heading into Friday night's game at Marana the Desert View Jaguars were in the middle of a 4-game losing skid, hoping to find that spark that helped them start the season 4-0.
They found it against the tigers with a 27-13 win improving to 5-4. It's just the second time in the last 6 seasons that Desert View has even earned 5 wins, but their record is only part of the equation. A loss against Nogales next week and the Jaguars could miss the post-season. So, technically their playoffs have already started.
